And don't get me started with Shion's fashion sense. Her facial expressions are simply classic, and even her non spoken words feel like they have more character and power compared to most anime characters WITH voices. Theres something about a cute little girl that cant speak and only communicates through written messages in her sketch book that makes her very, VERY moe. But enough about the personalities, the my favorite of this show is definitely the lovable, Shion Yasuoka. Each has their own play style and matching personality to how they play. Thankfully, The main characters are the big draw for this show. Well not so much in personality since most of the shogi players are either passive or aggressive. The characters are a mix of 'pretty boy' men and 'cute loli' girls, there are also a mix of middle/old aged adults that really look their age and all have their own unique look and personality. Something so simple, yet you can literally feel the emotion relayed through the pieces (also a recurring theme in the show). All I'm going to say is that I was shocked when I actually appreciated the crisp sound of shougi pieces slamming on to the board. It's hard to talk about sound effects in this day and age considering its pretty tough to critique such a simple (yet essential) part of anime. The only things that changed constantly were the characters. I mean theres only so many changes you can do to a shouji room and some matches last longer than one episode. Don't get me wrong, there are amazing details thanks to the high definition aspect, but it looked like they preferred to keep most things simple and settings limited. Everything looks crisp and clear, but at the same time it has a feel of simple and plain. The high definition aspect the the art and animation wasn't used to its full potential but what can you expect. Also, for an anime about shougi, its pretty G-darn bloody. Granted many things get left out during the games but once you're used to the terminology, you'll feel like you're right there watching the match. It paces itself perfectly and keeps the Shougi games very intense and thought provoking. A great draw to this show is that if you know anything about Shougi or not, you can still have a very inquisitive experience with all the mystery and drama stored in this lovely little 22 episode show. Sounds pretty ridiculous for a show centered around Shougi.īut I'll be damned if I didn't love every minute of this show. But instead, they manage to make this quite an involving story concerning dead parents, corporate undermining, a mute loli, and a sexy trap. It could easily have taken the tired and true route by just making this a shounen sports title with an emphasis on comedy. Shion no Ou was a fairly fun take on the game of Shougi. Overall: 41/50 = 8.2 (Serious sports anime are a rare find ) Sound: 9 (The way Shion moves Shougi pieces is sexy)Ĭharacter: 8 (If you find a way to hate Shion, you're going to hell)Įnjoyment: 8 (Very good from beginning to end) Story: 9 (Shougi connected to a crime mystery is impressive)Īrt: 7 (Good quality for today's standards) To 'Not Helpful' voters (and you 'Helpful' voters too): Feedback greatly appreciated =) This is an awesome show, and a definite recommendation! Watch it! Seriously, you don't really have to be that interested in shougi nor chess to enjoy this show. In fact, I almost forget that it's about shougi. They present it in such a way that I can't help but feel the tense aura. 'How can playing shougi possibly be tense?' you may ask. That alone is worth checking out!įinal thing the tension. It's hard to think that they can make one once a week - the detail put in it is pretty amazing, if you ask me. The animation of the show is nothing to complain on either - detailed, awesome-looking and realistic. They're all interesting characters, and that got me hooked. So does pretty much all the other characters too. And the hero's rival doesn't exist solely for the purpose of being a rival. She's got her struggles and other things to do. hero's only objective is to win, win and win. Talking about characters, this show has an array of great, well-built characters, all of which have some depth to them. That's pretty interesting a mute main character. The main person's parents were murdered, causing her to go mute. However, it's also pretty interesting in the fact that it's a murder/mystery-solving show as well. Now, it may not seem interesting to many people - Japanese chess a.k.a. A show about shougi (Japanese chess), but still it's so much more! I recommend it!

You can take the 25% tax-free cash in one go if you decide to designate your whole pension to drawdown. You’re typically entitled to take up to 25% of your pension pot upfront as a tax-free lump sum, known in the jargon as a pension commencement lump sum (PCLS). You’re free to create your own programme of lump sum payments or invest the pension to generate an income to live off and draw that, or take a mixture of these two approaches. Everyone now has access to drawdown and the full range of associated flexibilities that come with it if they want to make use of it. The 2015 pension freedoms introduced fully flexible drawdown - known from 2015 as flexi-access drawdown to reflect its difference from what came before - to the masses. Today’s blog article will focus on RStudio users. This allows running geoprocessing tools directly from R side-by-side with R code. One of the new features showcased is how to import ArcPy in a R Notebook. My colleagues Orhun Aydin and Nicholas Giner wrote a nice blog article that covers some of the new features in arcgisbinding. You can also use R Notebooks inside an ArcGIS Pro Conda environment. For example, R-ArcGIS Bridge now supports access of remote data in the cloud. Over the past year there had been quite a few new enhancements made to the arcgisbinding package. The related R package developed by our R-ArcGIS Bridge team is called arcgisbinding. This is particularly relevant for users who use R in their day to day work and would like to integrate geocoding and spatial analysis into their R scrips.Īs some of you may already know, the R-ArcGIS Bridge is the R integration for ArcGIS Pro that makes it possible to combine the spatial analysis and mapping functions of ArcGIS with the statistical modeling capabilities of R. I often get asked by users on how to call the service directly from R. You can call the geocoding service by using ArcGIS products including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS API for Python. The ArcGIS World Geocoding Service provides high quality geocoding for place names, addresses and zip codes. To display this type of data on a map we must transform the addresses into geographic coordinates. Almost every business or organization has a database of customers with addresses, a list of stores, place names, regions etc. More and more cars today require a synthetic oil change. Synthetic oil improves fuel efficiency and low-temperature performance and typically has a longer oil life. Synthetic Oil (or Full Synthetic Motor Oil): This is the highest quality of motor oil specially formulated for the highest levels of protection and performance. However, its performance, fuel economy, and fuel efficiency are still behind full synthetic oil. Synthetic blend oils offer durable wear protection. It gives sounder protection and performance than conventional oil, especially in severe driving conditions. Synthetic Blend Oil: Synthetic blend is a synthetic and conventional oil mixture.High mileage oil is enhanced with unique additives to reduce oil consumption and oil leaks. High Mileage Oil: This type of oil is designed for newer cars with over 75,000 miles clocked. The oil life of conventional motor oil can be up to five years. Conventional Oil: Many car owners still prefer the lower cost and familiarity of conventional motor oil for frequent oil changes, especially if their car isn’t driven in severe driving conditions, like dirty or dusty roads and extreme heat or cold.Motor oil can be divided into four main types: Conventional motor oil, high mileage oil, synthetic blend, and synthetic oil. Instead, you can just call a mobile mechanic for regular oil changes. Note : You don’t have to go to a service center or auto service shop. Schedule a routine oil change auto service with a professional mechanic to get a more accurate gas mileage interval. This interval can be shorter if you generally drive in severe driving conditions. You’ll mostly need an oil change every 7,500 miles or 10,000 miles, depending on your vehicle’s oil consumption. However, many manufacturers have started recommending a longer oil change interval because of the oil chemistry and technology advancements. How Many Miles Can You Go Before An Oil Change?Ī vehicle manufacturer typically recommends an oil change auto service every 3,000 miles. It also helps you maintain good gas mileage in the long run. That’s why frequent oil changes are important. However, over time, the oil gets extremely dirty from the debris and stops doing its job - especially with harsh driving conditions. The oil also picks up debris along the way, keeping your engine clean. This prevents excess wear and overheating. What Is An Oil Change?Įngine oil is crucial for lubricating your car engine, keeping the metal components from grinding against each other. Here are some oil change-related questions and their answers: 1. More Mileage Than UsualĪfter you return from a long road trip, you may need an oil change.Īny time you record a significant number of miles on your car than normal, expect to need an oil change sooner than anticipated. When the oil becomes thin, old, dark, or poorly textured, your engine will make a knocking sound every time you drive. Motor oil lubricates your engine enabling all the parts to function together and smoothly. If the oil is dark, gritty, and doesn’t feel smooth to the touch, it’s time for an oil change. If it’s low, get a top-off or oil change depending on your car’s need. Get in the habit of using a dipstick before long drives to check if the oil level is low. Some will disappear, and some will likely leak out, even if you don’t notice significant oil leaks. It’ll flash the replace engine oil warning light to remind you to get an oil change. Your vehicle knows its fluids just as well as it knows its tires. It’s best to adhere to that timeline and go for regular oil changes. Your vehicle comes with the manufacturer’s recommended intervals for oil changes. Like many people, chances are you schedule service or maintenance, then ignore it when life gets busy.ĭon’t avoid your scheduled maintenance because it only gets your tires and fluids in a world of trouble. Here are some of the common instances when you need an oil change: 1. Select the device on which you want to set the reminder.Open the Alexa app on the mobile device. To set a recurring Reminder with Alexa say for every day, follow these steps: You can also say, “Alexa, add/remove 5 minutes on my timer”. You can pause or stop the Alexa sleep timer instead of waiting for it to go off automatically. Sleep timer with lights off: at the end of the timer, both the audio and lights will turn off.įor this, use Alexa commands like “Alexa, set a sleep timer for 30 minutes with lights” or “Alexa, set a sleep timer for 60 minutes with Philips hue lights”.At the end of the timer, the lights will dim, and the audio will play for a specific time period before turning off automatically. Sleep timers with dim lights: You should have smart lights for this timer.Sleep timer with audio: for instance, play audio (be it audiobooks or music) for a specific time period before bed.Alternatively, you can also set sleep timers. Now, within the When This Happens, choose how you want the routine to start.Tap on the + sign in the top right corner.Open the Alexa app on your mobile device. Here is how you can set Routines on your Alexa device using the Alexa app: Do you need reminders every 30 minutes at a specific time of the day, say in the morning, in the evening or before sleeping? You can set routines for an hour or two, one after another to remind you. Settings Routines is another way to set reminders every 30 minutes. It also sends push notifications to your mobile device using the Alexa app but that’s it. A reminder set on Alexa reminds your task once and repeats again after a few more seconds. You will have to set different reminders every 30 minutes for this to work. For once, you can set a reminder for 30 minutes, but it can only be repeated either daily, on weekdays, weekends, or on a specific day of the week but not every 30 minutes. However, in this case, you may not be able to set a reminder for every 30 minutes. Instead of setting the timer, you can set the reminder. This way, Alexa will keep reminding you every 30 minutes. When the timer is done, Alexa will say, “Your stove timer is done.” This is when you can add time to the timer by saying, “Alexa add 30 minutes to the stove timer,” or whatever you have named it. You can set the timer as, “Alexa, set stove on the timer for 30 minutes”. You can use Alexa timers if you want Alexa to remind you every 30 minutes.įor instance, if you want a reminder every 30 minutes that the stove is on. Below are the steps to upgrade Premiere Pro to the latest version.
